How to increase immunity / Foods to eat for strong immune system to fight against coronavirus


Coronavirus at this period of time is engulfing the whole world inside. There are almost 210 countries and territories which are affected from this pandemic disease
, there is hardly any country left unaffected. Countries like america, china ,spain , italy , iran are among the worst affected. Nearly there are 1925000 cases of corona in the world and almost 120000 people have been died when i am writing this blog.

If we talk about india , we can say situation is under control and the potential of coronavirus to affect the citizens has been kept down. 

Now , the question arises how to remain safe and  keep ourself away from this deadly and highly communicable disease. One answer to this is to remain at home lockeddown and keep social distancing. Other is to eat healthy foods which keep our immune system strong . 

Here we are going to point out some foods which are easily available at home and are considered very helpful in keeping our immune system strong in order to fight against coronavirus.

1.Dark Choclate


It has been proven that dark choclate contains antioxidants which helps in improving the immune system but these need to be consume in limits as they also contain fats which are harmful for the body if intake in high amount.

2.Turmeric ( Haldi)

Turmeric or Haldi is an indian spice used as an ingredient in almost every daily food. Turmeric is considered as an antibiotic too. Drinking a glass of milk with turmeric in it boosts your immunity for sure.

3.Ginger


Ginger is very helpful in curing common cold like cough  and blocked throat problems. You must have seen many cough curing toffees , ginger an important ingredient in them.  Hot water with some ginger flavour helps in improving nausea too.

4.Garlic


Nature of garlic is warm  so this also helps in curing fever and common cold problems. Many people use garlic in their daily food which is good for health and their immunity.

5.Green Tea


Green tea is also considered as a good intake to strengthen immune system. Taking green tea instead of black tea or coffee is recommended.

6.Almonds


Eating 3-4 almonds a day with a glass of milk is very helpful to increase immunity. 

7.Black Pepper


Boil 1 black pepper and 2-3 leaves of tulsi in water and take small cups daily in the morning or at night. This helps in improving immunity and maintain body temperature.

8.Lemon water


Boil some amount of water and squeeze a lemon and drink it regularly . This will help in maintaing digestion and immunity as well.

9. Oranges 


Oranges or any of the fruits which are rich in vitamin -C like grapes , kiwi and others are recommended in this period to boost your immunity. Actually vitamin C helps to increase white blood cells in the human body which in turn helps to fight against viruses and bacteria in our body.

10. Hot water


Last but not the least if you don't have any of the things mentioned above , you can simply boil some water and intake regularly. This helps the body to maintain temperature, and also to improve digestion.

Apart from the above mentioned foods you must take other precautions as well like:

1. Wash your hands at regular intervals .

2. Sanitize your hands regularly using alcohol based sanitizer . 

3.Always keep a mask on your mouth .

4.Whenever you purchase essentials from outside wash them using hot water if possible . 

5. Don't touch anything unnecessarily while going outside.

So we have tried here to mention all the things which are helpful in fighting against this pandemic disease of coronavirus.
